On October 8th, 2024, Discord was banned in Russia. Maybe put it in history or somewhere near 178.155.4.104 (talk) 21:10, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The History section doesn't mention any physical locations. I feel this article is operating on the assumption that everyone just knows this kind of big tech company is based in the SF Bay Area and operates under US law, but these seem like pretty basic facts a global encyclopedia needs to include. This is an article about the service, not the company, is the basic reason why we're not going into detail about corporate factoids. -- ferret (talk) 20:49, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Shadow311 (talk) 18:22, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that some information about discord is not reliable and also false. I am doing research about apps and I know that the information is not all correct. 2603:6081:63F0:4280:48B2:CFB1:9220:98C0 (talk) 20:18, 14 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

In the "Criticisms and controversies", "Bans" section, add a line about how they falsely banned people for sharing a Marvel Rivals image. Citation : https://www.indiatodaygaming.com/news/story/marvel-rivals-discord-controversy-users-report-perma-bans-over-shared-content-6694 . Specifically, add the following line:

In January 2025, Discord banned numerous users for sharing an image of the Marvel Rivals character Sue Storm, as its AI falsely detected it as child sexual abuse material. 65.92.109.65 (talk) 02:19, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done - Wikipedia is not here for you to settle disputes or grudges you have. Unless you can provide evidence that this is being covered in reliable sources much wider than one random article in a small gaming magazine/website, then it is not due weight to include this. -bɜ:ʳkənhɪmez | me | talk to me! 02:34, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
