New merge/notability discussion at Brian Thompson (businessman)

[edit]

Hello there! I noticed you recently participated in a discussion of a requested move for the article Brian Thompson (businessman). That discussion was closed without an ultimate consensus decision for procedural reasons. There is a new discussion open on the article talk page, and all participants in the prior move discussion are encouraged to participate. Thank you! Vrabel

[edit]

I saw your edit summary on Vrabel about Wikipedia using Wikipedia as a reference and I found it humorous. Good catch! I have seen news outlets almost for sure use Wikipedia as their reference. Wikipedia then cites the 'reliable' news source and it causes a circular reference there unfortunately. Just thought I would share this. Best wishes! In light of Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bobby Witt Jr. (2nd nomination) and my own desire to leave this less-than-funny joke in the past as April Fools' 2025 approaches, I have requested a G7 on this "joke" that I created. This message is to let you know of this fact in case you wish to contest my G7 (due to your !vote in that joke AfD) or to !vote in the serious MfA. Thank you and happy April Fools in advance. Also, if you don't mind the G7, would you mind saying so such that the reviewing admin would know? Thanks again. Silcox (talk) 03:30, 30 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Done. It's a few years old at this point, so I don't mind. Witt has also gotten a lot better at baseball since then.  53  (talk) 03:50, 30 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
