Conflict of Interest Disclosure

I work with Dr. Mukami Gathariki, a Kenyan plastic surgeon, and therefore have a conflict of interest as defined by WP:COI. I have submitted this article via Articles for Creation to ensure independent review. To maintain neutrality, I will not edit the article directly once published and will propose changes via the talk page using the {{edit request}} template. I encourage independent editors, particularly from WikiProject Medicine or WikiProject Biography, to review and edit the article to ensure it meets Wikipedia’s standards for neutrality, verifiability, and notability. It seems like you tried to add the COI parameter but you did it incorrectly so, I've corrected it to the correct template. Please be patient, there are currently 150+ COI edit requests so it may take a while (possibly months) before someone gets to review it. The edit COI template should only be used on an article that has already been published; this should be submitted through the standard AfC process as it has been once already. I am going to remove the template. Do please use the edit COI template if the article is published and you want to edit the article once it is published. Rusalkii (talk) 04:53, 2 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
