Requests for assessment
[edit]Editors can self-assess articles against the five B-class criteria(FAQ) up to and including C-Class. If you have made significant improvements to an article against one or more of B-class criteria and would like an outside opinion on a new rating for it, please feel free to list it below, specifying which criteria you have worked on. If you feel unable to assess against one or more of the B-class criteria, please say so when posting. Requests for formal A-Class review should be made at the review department. Please consider entering articles you have improved in the military history article writing contest.
Experienced assessors are encouraged to take a look at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history/Coordinators#AutoCheck report for April and check a few of ≈ B-Class assessments. Feel free to downgrade them if you consider they don't meet one or more the criteria. Please also delete any that you have checked. See also Wikipedia:WikiProject Spaceflight/Assessment, whose articles often overlap with military history topics.

Missile Farm— New article from weaponry task force request. Thanks. Tylermack999 (talk) 14:15, 24 April 2025 (UTC)- Citation required on first paragraph of Background. Also: it says: "launch sites dispersed across five states" but eight are marked on the map. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 19:30, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Tylermack999 and Hawkeye7: I note that the map in footnote 13, used in the article, shows 8 sites; footnote 12 and a clearer map and text that shows only five sites being activated. Donner60 (talk) 23:09, 25 April 2025 (UTC)

- Edit: According to the DOD's Nuclear Triad website, there are 5 states with ICBM silos. it seems likely the map in the article includes nuclear weapons stationed outside of silos as well.Tylermack999 (talk) 17:17, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
- This sentence ends a paragraph: "For land-based ICBMs, there are various methods to defend missile silos, not all of which are equally effective." It should have a citation. Apparently the next paragraph describes this but the last sentence of a paragraph should have a citation for B class. I assume one or more of the sources cited in the next paragraph can support this paragraph. After this addition, B class. Donner60 (talk) 06:01, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
- Added additional source that encompasses the claim.Tylermack999 (talk) 14:59, 3 May 2025 (UTC)
