[edit]- February 21 – A bus crashes into a back of a tractor in Son La Province, killing six people and injuring eight others.[1]
- March 28 – A magnitude 7.7 earthquake with an epicenter in Myanmar shakes multiple areas of Vietnam, damaging 342 apartments in Ho Chi Minh City[2] and resulting in the death of one person in the city's District 8.[3]
- April 4 – In a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump on 4 April, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Tô Lâm offered a "0%" tariff on American goods in exchange for lowering and eliminating tariffs against Vietnam.[4][5]
