Cora Vaucaire (July 12, 1918 - September 17, 2011) was a French singer.
Early life
[edit]She enrolled at the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Paris.[1]
Career
[edit]She attended the classes of Fernand Ledoux and Charles Dullin. At the age of sixteen, she won the first prize in comedy and tragedy at the City of Paris.[1]
During the Occupation, she married the lyricist and musicologist Michel Vaucaire who incited her to sing.[1]
Death
[edit]She died the september 17, 2011 at Paris.[2][3]
