Ajay Kumar Yadav (born November 5, 1974) is an Indian wealth manager and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wise Finserv Private Limited, a wealth management firm based in Noida. Yadav is known for his work in financial literacy, retirement planning, and portfolio management for HNI and UHNI clients in India. He has been featured in national financial media and has conducted over 300 seminars on investment planning and retirement corpus deployment.

Early life and education

Ajay Kumar Yadav was born in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his schooling under the CBSE board and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Chennai University in 1996, followed by an MBA from the same institution in 1999. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and completed an executive education program in Behavioural Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

Career

Yadav began his career in 1999 with Panacea Biotec and later worked at Torrent Pharmaceuticals. He transitioned to the financial services sector with roles at ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities, DBS Bank, and Reliance Capital, specializing in private wealth management.

In 2013, Yadav co-founded Wise Finserv Private Limited along with Charu Pahuja. The firm focuses on personalized financial planning, tax-efficient retirement strategies, and investment advisory services. Under his leadership, Wise Finserv has expanded its presence in cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi, and Lucknow, serving high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), Ultra-HNIs (UHNIs), and PSU retirees. The firm also offers advisory services on National Pension Scheme (NPS), systematic withdrawal strategies, and private family trusts.

Financial literacy and advocacy

Yadav is known for conducting financial literacy seminars, especially for employees and retirees of India’s public sector undertakings (PSUs) such as NTPC, ONGC, and GAIL.
