Azhar Hussain is a Pakistani software engineering leader, entrepreneur, enterprise architect, mentor, and angel investor. Early Life and Education

Azhar Hussain was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his secondary education at CAA Model High School and Public School Hyderabad, before earning a Bachelor of Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in 2000. In 2019, he also participated in the Y Combinator's Startup School Online program.

Career

Early Career (2001–2010)

Hussain began his software career as an engineer at Wekay Soft and later held positions at Apna Soft, Sure Technology & Consulting, and Avanza Solutions. His work during this period focused on enterprise solutions using Microsoft technologies, especially SharePoint and .NET frameworks.

Enterprise Architect and Consultant (2011–2019)

From 2011 to 2019, he worked with Saudi Business Machines and the Saudi Electricity Company, where he led multiple digital transformation projects. These included architecture for CI/CD pipelines, application lifecycle management using Azure DevOps, and enterprise integrations across sectors such as energy and public utilities.
