Berla, Jhunjhunu Berla is a village and Gram Panchayat located in the Surajgarh tehsil of Jhunjhunu district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It lies approximately 14 kilometers from Surajgarh and about 56 kilometers from the district headquarters, Jhunjhunu.
Geography Berla spans a geographical area of 1,244 hectares (12.44 km²). The village is situated near the Rajasthan-Haryana border and is accessible via private bus services. The nearest railway station is Bhavdhari, located over 10 kilometers away.
Demographics
According to the 2011 Census of India, Berla has a population of 2,602 residents across 525 households. The gender distribution comprises 1,355 males and 1,247 females, resulting in a sex ratio of 920 females per 1,000 males. Children aged 0–6 years constitute 13% of the population, with a child sex ratio of 976.
The literacy rate in Berla stands at 78.67%, which is higher than the district average of 64.1%. Male literacy is at 87.64%, while female literacy is at 68.85%.
Scheduled Castes make up 26.4% of the population, and Scheduled Tribes account for 0.1%.

Culture and Community Berla is predominantly inhabited by the Kharadia Jat community, who are credited with founding the village.
