Camphouse (software)
[edit]Camphouse is a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for planning, managing, and analyzing media and marketing campaigns. Originally founded in Sweden as Mediatool in 2012, the platform was rebranded to Camphouse in 2025 to reflect its expanded role in supporting omnichannel campaign operations. Camphouse serves marketing teams at large global companies by centralizing workflows across budgeting, planning, execution, and reporting of advertising campaigns.[1][2]
History
[edit]Camphouse was originally founded as Mediatool in 2012 by Alexander Högman in Malmö, Sweden. The company began as a media planning solution designed to help advertisers centralize their campaign data and workflows.
In October 2023, Mediatool announced a €7 million funding round led by Fairpoint Capital and eEquity to support product development and international expansion, including the opening of a U.S. office in New York City in early 2024.[2]
In January 2025, Mediatool rebranded to Camphouse, positioning itself as the “House of Campaigns” to better reflect its role as a centralized platform for global campaign operations.[1]
Product
[edit]Camphouse is a campaign management and media operations platform designed for large marketing teams managing global, omnichannel campaigns. The platform is structured around four core modules:
- Budget: Teams can create campaign briefs, allocate budgets, and set performance targets.
- Plan: Users collaborate across departments and markets to develop campaign plans and gain approvals.
- Track: Campaign data is captured in a structured format to enable performance comparisons across time, channels, and markets.
- Report: Customizable dashboards and reports allow users to analyze campaign results and identify areas for improvement.
The platform also includes features such as changelogs, approval flows, integrations with media-buying and analytics tools, and robust filtering and tagging systems for data organization.[3][4]
Funding
[edit]Camphouse has raised multiple funding rounds to support its growth. The most notable came in 2023, when it secured €7 million in Series A funding from Fairpoint Capital, eEquity, and other investors.[2] This funding enabled the company to expand internationally, enhance its product features, and scale its sales and customer success operations, particularly in the U.S. market.[5]
Company and funding information is also tracked by databases including PitchBook and Dealroom.[6][7]
Reception
[edit]Camphouse has been listed on several software review platforms, including G2, Capterra, and Software Advice, where users have shared feedback on its interface and collaboration features.[4] While these platforms aggregate user reviews rather than independent editorial analysis, they reflect general sentiment from the marketing technology community.[8][9]
