David Rudnick (born 4 January 1986) is an British self-taught graphic and typography designer based in Ghent, Belgium. He is well known for his work designing album covers, posters and publications.

He founded the design company called Terrain along with other graphic designers.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]David Rudnick was born in Letchmore Heath, Hertfordshire in northwest London[2]. At the age of eight, one of Rudnick’s gateway into design was the album leaflet for The Best of New Order (1994) made by Peter Saville.
Rudnick attended Yale University to study Art history and philosophy. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2009 followed by a Master degree of Fine Arts in 2016.
Work
[edit]Highly inspired by the electronic music scene, he incorporates in his work photo manipulation, illustration, video, 3D modeling, and typography of his authorship. Rudnick is well known for designing album covers and posters for electronic music musicians such as RL Grime, Oneohtrix Point Never, Evian Christ, Bicep and Nicolas Jaar.
His style is often considered as Acid graphics, maximalism and minimalism visual movements.
In September 2020, Rudnick worked with ACRONYM® and ASUS to create an special version of the laptop ROG Zephyrus G14 featuring graphic elements, logos and unique scheme.[3] In 2021, David Rudnick released a serie of multi-format artworks composed of 177 drawings designs of optimal discs called Tombs[4] originally created in 2016 for his university project called Atlas during his MFA at Yale Univesity. In 2022, the serie is developped to be on a blockchain and each "Tomb" are being sold as NFT. Later that year, Rudnick released the Tomb Series as a book called Tomb Index[5]
In April 2022, Rudnick got the opportunity to work on the new graphic identity of the Arsenal F.C.. Along with Terrain, he joined Tuner Prize-winner Jeremy Deller and artist Reuben Dangoor to create ceveral artworks and a typeface for the football team.[6]
