Hemanth Hegde (born 23 June 1972) is an Indian Filmmaker, Actor, Writer who predominantly works in the Kannada Film Industry. Known for his sharp wit and crisp direction Mr. Hegde has several successful films to his credit.
Before turning into direction, he was the number one television actor in kannada industry. Mayamruga and Samaagama were two of his most popular serials. He quit acting at the height of his career and turned into direction.
His first big break was when he was offered to direct a film for Ramoji Rao’s Usha Kiron movies. That film Ooh la la written by Mr. Hegde and starring Radhika Kumaraswamy and KrishnaMohan was a commercial success.
