Comment: Hello, 3/4 sources in this article appear to be written by the same person - google searches suggest that person works for IXL. If this topic is notable, it will require independent sources to demonstrate that. Thank you, Zzz plant (talk) 06:04, 29 April 2025 (UTC)

IXL
[edit]IXL is an online learning website designed to help students with a variety of subjects in school, but especially Mathematics and English Language Arts.[1] It provides questions to students in a problem-set style, with a 'Smart Score' that goes up whenever a student gets a correct answer in a particular skill. As the smart score increases, the difficulty also increases proportionally. [2]
Impact
[edit]According to a peer-reviewed study funded by IXL, the math proficiency for schools in Kentucky that have implemented IXL for three or more years is on average 5.49 percent higher than those who have not.[1] IXL has published several other studies, all showing similar trends.[3] [4]
