The Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (JAERE) is a peer-reviewed journal of environmental and resource economics published six times a year. It is the official research journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists. The journal's principal mission is to provide a forum for the scholarly exchange of ideas in the intersection of human behavior and the natural environment. JAERE’s current editors are Mary Evans at the University of Texas, Austin, Teevrat Garg at the University of California, San Diego, and Arik Levinson at Georgetown University.[2]
Each year, AERE confers the Ralph C. d’Arge and Allen V. Kneese Award for Outstanding Publication in JAERE.[3]
