Early life
[edit]Alonso Burney was born on July 20, 2008, in Miami-Dade County, Flordia to a African American Father and African American Mother.[2] He was primarily raised in East Atlanta After moving from Miami After his 4th grade year. In high school, Burney developed an interest in music through the influence of his brothers and friends in the neighborhood and at school, including Baby Marq, 10, and 30. They would often rap at Marq's house, and after some time, Kozzy started collaborating with Nosferatu. As he found enjoyment in creating music, it became a passion for him, and he decided to take it more seriously. Kozzy's inspirations stem from both iconic older artists such as Eminem, Future, and Lil Wayne, as well as local talents like Gdot Savage, Hunxho, and, more recently, Hurricane Wisdom.
