Language Learning & Technology (LLT) is a peer-reviewed, open access academic journal of Language Learning, Language Teaching and Language Technology published online by the National Foreign Language Resource Center (NFLRC) at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. The Language Learning & Technology (journal) is currently sponsored and funded by the NFLRC as well as the Center for Language & Technology (CLT) at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. The journals focus is to provide both foreign and second language educators with research on problems related to technology and language education. LLT’s focus is not strictly restricted to technology but rather has a wide scope that encompasses all issues related to language learning and language teaching and seeks to see how those issues are affected or enhanced by the use of digital technology.[1]

History

Language Learning & Technology was established in July 1997 with Mark Warschauer as it's first editor, who in January 1998 was joined by Lucinda Hart-Gonzalez as co-editor.[2][3]
