Mahmoud Valanejad
Mahmoud Valanejad (born July 27, 1992, in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian composer, music producer, multi-instrumentalist, music theorist, and mixing/mastering engineer. He is known for blending ethnic, traditional, classical, spiritual, jazz, electronic, and Latin influences in his compositions.

Early Life and Education
Valanejad began studying music at the age of five, starting with the flute. He later taught himself a wide range of instruments including clarinet, piano, saxophone, duduk, guitar, bass guitar, drums, and tombak. Within two months of learning the piano, he was able to perform Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata (First Movement)” and later mastered Chopin’s “Fantaisie-Impromptu.”
Career
Valanejad has composed music for numerous films and theater productions. One of his most notable works is the score for Democracy Flavored with Hamburger, a political comedy that became one of Iran’s best-selling stage productions. His compositions often reflect a blend of thematic storytelling with experimental sound design.
He has received several international awards and nominations for his contributions to film and theater music.
Teaching and Writing
Valanejad began teaching music at age 17 and published his first book on piano instruction at 21. He is currently working on a book about composition.

Collaborations He has collaborated with various Iranian and international hip-hop artists, including Justina and Nima Nimosh. He also mixed and mastered the track “Gunshot” by Twisted Insane.
