Maono, an audio technology brand founded in 2014, designs, develops, manufactures and markets audio products. Its products focus on microphones, audio interfaces, and mixers for podcasting, live streaming, gaming, and content creation.
Brand Concept
Maono means “VISION” in Kiswahili. The logo consists of the 5 letters of the brand and a stylized “M”, inspired by sound waveforms, in the upper left corner.
History
In 2014, Maono Technology Co., Ltd was founded by Alex Lu in Shenzhen, Guangdong.
In 2016, the company launched its first self-developed audio product, the AU100 Lavalier microphone. This product marked the company’s entry into the North American and European markets.
In September 2018, Maono set up a factory in Dongguan, Guangdong; ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications were passed <ref>{{cite web |title=About Us |url=https://www.maono.com/pages/about-us-1 |website=Maono |access-date=2025-04-14}}</ref>.

Podcasting Series
The Podcasting Series is designed to provide audio solutions for podcasters, voice-over artists, and music producers.
PD400X
The PD400X is a dynamic microphone featuring both XLR and USB connectivity. It is suitable for recording, streaming, and singing. It is compatible with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems. The Maono PD400X dynamic microphone is also compatible with the Maono Link software.
PD300X
The PD300X is a dual-mode dynamic microphone. It has a 192kHz/24bit sampling rate and a visual EQ panel. The integration of Maono Link with the PD300X allows users to perform real-time equalizer adjustments. It features a metal design. The microphone includes a 3-in-1 smart knob and a custom mute button which integrates controls for microphone gain, headphone volume, and monitoring. The PD300X also offers zero-latency monitoring, a quick mute and noise reduction feature.
Gaming Series
The Gaming Series is engineered more for gamers, streamers, and e-sports enthusiasts. It is meant to be used for in game communication.
DM30RGB
The DM30RGB is a plug-and-play USB microphone equipped with built-in RGB lighting. It features an all-metal construction and a 3-in-1 knob interface. The DM30RGB is compatible with the Maono Link software, which allows users to customize the RGB lighting as well as adjust audio parameters, such as gain, volume and noise reduction. It also allows users to create and manage different audio scenes.
DM40PRO
The DM40PRO is a wireless gaming desktop microphone that utilizes AI effects to modify the user's voice. It offers seamless connectivity with multiple devices and customizable setups with 16 RGB lighting options. The built in battery gives 75 hours of battery life. The Maono DM40 Pro works with the Maono Link software to set up multiple scene presets, customize noise cancellation, and fine-tune audio with customizable equalizer settings.

PD200X
The PD200X is a USB/XLR dynamic microphone, featuring built-in RGB lighting and a frequency response of 40Hz-16kHz. It includes a 2-in-1 smart knob to adjust microphone gain and headphone volume, a one-touch mute button with an LED indicator, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for real-time monitoring. The Maono Link software provides the PD200X with a customizable equalizer, as well as compressor and limiter controls. The Maono Link software offers firmware functionality for the PD200X.
MAONOCASTER AME2
The MAONOCASTER AME2 is an integrated audio production studio designed for streamers. It offers one XLR input and one 3.5mm jack, accommodating various microphones, including dynamic and condenser types. Features include a three-level microphone gain adjustment, support for up to 60dB of ultra-low noise gain, six reverb modes, three modifiable tones (treble, mid, bass), and a tone shift knob.
PM450
The PM450 is a USB condenser microphone intended for studio recording and podcasting. It provides a 48kHz/24bit sampling rate, covering a frequency range from 20Hz to 20kHz. The Maono Link software can control many aspects of the PM450 including customization of the microphone's lighting effects, adjustments to the noise reduction, and adjustments to the 5-band equalizer. It also features 11 DSP effects and provides an additional memory function to retain preferences across devices.

PM500
The PM500 is an XLR large-diaphragm condenser microphone. It features a 34mm gold-plated condenser diaphragm, providing a dynamic range of 20Hz to 20kHz. The microphone's body is constructed from zinc alloy with multiple coating layers, offering electromagnetic shielding.
PS22
The PS22 is a USB audio interface designed for recording, music production, and guitar applications. It offers a 24bit/192kHz sampling rate and up to 60dB gain range. The interface includes two combined XLR instrument/line inputs and outputs, two virtual channels, and advanced routing control of virtual input and output channels.
Wave T5
The Wave T5 is a plug-and-play wireless lavalier microphone weighing approximately 9 grams. It provides an 80dB signal-to-noise ratio, 120dB maximum sound pressure level, and 48kHz/24-bit audio format. Utilizing a dedicated ENC chip and algorithm for voice and noise separation, it employs frequency hopping technology for audio transmission and has a range of up to 300 meters (1,000 feet). The device also allows phone charging during recording. The Maono Link software offers voice filters and real-time battery status updates. Through the Maono Link app, users can adjust noise cancellation across 14 levels.
Maono Link
Maono Link is a proprietary software developed by Maono to customize the audio experience of its products. It is available for Windows and macOS platforms, with system requirements specifying macOS version 11 or later and Windows version 10 or later. The software supports various Maono devices, such as the PD100X, PD200X, PD300X, PD400X, PM450, DM30 RGB, DM40, DM50, WAVE T5, and A04E. It provides features like equalizer adjustments, compressor settings, and limiter controls, providing control over the audio output.
Maono Arena
Maono Arena is a virtual audio mixing software developed by Maono, tailored for game streamers and content creators. It consolidates various audio sources into a single mixer, facilitating the creation of independent mixes to suit streaming and recording. Arena can be used with broadcasting software, such as OBS. Arena is fully compatible with several Maono microphone models, including the DM30RGB, DM40, PD200X, PD300X, and PD400X.
