Mark Anvil is an American Christian hip hop recording artist from North Carolina. Raised on secular hip hop, he was influenced by jermane dupri, fat joe and lil wayne. Once He met God he dedicated his craft and life to the faith. Bringin the same quality, hot beats and competitiveness from mainstream hip hop into the anointing, His music stands out among others in the faith based genre. Anvil prides himself on sounding different than all the cookie cutter trend followers in the genre. His music is more mainstream than most in CHH and therefore more easily appeals to the average hip hop fan regardless of their beliefs or knowledge of truth. Tho often testimonial , his skillful slick lyricism and clever punch lines keep the listener entertained and their speakers knockin. Mark Anvil believes music should still be exciting even more now that it has the light. His goal is to bring CHH to mainstream like never before and to bring positive change to a fallin world.
on april 5th 2025 mark anvil's song "pray for me" landed number 24 on the Global Top 50 Gospel/Inspirational Airplay Chart. Mark has collabs with "Swift" and reach records recording artist "1k Phew". "Phew" appears on the "Pray for me" remix which tackles unanswered prayer, doubt and trust in God when life is dark and lonely.
