Overdrive Interactive is an American digital marketing agency headquartered in the Allston neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts.[1] Founded in 2001, the firm provides integrated digital‑marketing services to business‑to‑business and consumer brands.

History

Overdrive Interactive was established in September 2001 by Harry J. Gold and Ty Velde[1] The agency initially focused on technology clients and later expanded to consumer brands such as Harley‑Davidson, LoJack and Zipcar.[1] On 27 January 2022 the company was acquired by Capitala Group, a Charlotte‑based private‑equity firm.[2] Co‑founder Harry Gold moved to the board of directors, and on 18 November 2024 Rob Murray was appointed chief executive officer.[3]
