Sadraddin (born Sadraddin Bolat; June 4, 2003) is a Kazakhstani singer and songwriter. He has received several national music awards and has become known in Kazakhstan and neighboring countries for his pop performances.[1][2]

Early life

Sadraddin was born on June 4, 2003, in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, as the eldest child in his family.[3] He began singing at age five and started formal vocal training at a music school by the fifth grade.[4]

In 2015, at age 12, Sadraddin won first place in the 3rd Republican Children's Music TV Contest "Ayalağan Astana."[5] The following year, he won the national TV project "Dala Daryny" and became a laureate of the national children's music competition "Bala Dauysy" as part of a vocal trio.[6]

In 2017, Sadraddin participated in the international music project "Vo ves' golos." Two years later, he performed at the international music festival "Star of Asia."[7]

Sadraddin graduated from a school of arts in Shymkent in 2019 and subsequently enrolled in the pop vocal department of the P.I. Tchaikovsky Almaty Music College.

2020–2022

Sadraddin released his debut single "Alya" in 2020, which appeared on charts for new Kazakhstani tracks.[8] That same year, he released several other singles including "Koroleva," "Grustnyy tanets," and "Tusinbedim."

In 2022, he performed in Moscow.[9] He also gave a charity concert at Khan Shatyr Mall in Astana.[10]

2023–present

In 2023, his song "Aiga qarap" won "Best Hit of the Year" at the Kazakh TV award show "Qyzyq Premiya."[11] According to reports, the song maintained positions on various music platforms including VK Music, Yandex, Apple Music, and Spotify.[12] That summer, he performed at the "Asia Dauysy" (Voice of Asia) festival.[13]

On September 9, 2023, Sadraddin held a solo concert at Almaty Arena.[14]
