History
[edit]After meeting during Northeastern University’s Semester in Silicon Valley entrepreneurship program, the four co-founders launched Settle in September 2023 in San Francisco, California.[1] Initially focused on AI-driven employee onboarding solutions, the company pivoted in May 2024 to specialize in RFP automation following customer feedback from sales teams seeking to reduce manual effort. The startup later relocated its headquarters to Boston, Massachusetts, to tap into the city’s AI and tech ecosystem.
Products
[edit]Settle’s flagship product is an AI-driven platform for answering RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and security questionnaires. The platform connects to a company’s existing content library, uses vector search to retrieve similar previously answered questions, and applies generative AI to craft tailored responses grounded in approved historical data.[2] The company reports that this approach can reduce RFP response times by up to 80%, while minimizing the risk of AI hallucinations by basing answers on vetted content.
