Shower thoughts are a phenomenon where sudden thought/s or idea/s (for lack of a better term) about something mundane appears a person's mind mostly in the shower.[1] Usually shower thoughts also happen either ranging regularly or rarely out of the shower, also usually in dull activities, such as chores and a walk outside. [2]

Psychologists have concluded that the situations where people are more common to have shower thoughts are usually perceived as "mindless" which in definition means the activities are completely done without further focus, making them meditative. This causes the brain to dive in random mundane topics, thus causing a shower thought. [3][4]
