The smasi App is designed as a local knowledge database or personal wiki. All entries are stored directly on the end device in an SQLite database, whereby images and external attachments are stored separately. The data can be saved as a ZIP file using the integrated backup function and transferred to another device if required.[1]
History
[edit]The application is developed with Flutter by 2S-Software AG from Switzerland and was first published in 2024 via the App Store and Google Play. The first desktop versions for macOS and Windows were then added in 2025. The name 'smasi' stands for smart and simple. The application is regularly extended and improved.[2]
