Stephen Jody Works (born: February 22, 1996 [age 29]), better known online as SpringSims, is an American YouTuber, Twitch Streamer whose content is focused on playing The Sims as well as an Actor based Illinois.
Career
[edit]In 2020, Works was a contestant on the TBS reality show, The Sims Spark'd.[2][3][4] on Team FreezerBunny alongside youtubers DeeSims and XUrbanSimsX.
In 2024, Works was awarded the LGBTQ Streamer of the Year award at the Gayming Magazine Gayming Awards[5] as apart of the IGN Summer of Gaming[6][7]
Works played Teen Larry role in the film The Company You Keep [8] and portrays Pete in Chicago Fire on NBC[9] in Season 13 Episode 19 which serves as first TV credit.
YouTube
[edit]As of April 2025, Works has over 43,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.
Twitch
[edit]Works has a Twitch channel with 50,500 followers, and usually streamed six days per week.[10]
In May 2022, Works leaving his Sims 4 game unpaused all night, but this time on his Twitch stream[11]
Personal life
[edit]Works was born in Alexandria, Virginia his family moved to Illinois when he was 9. He started playing The Sims at the age 4 and is the youngest of four brothers.
Works graduated from the Webster University in May 2020 in Webster Groves with a bachelor's degree in Interactive Digital Media.
