Timo Fahrbach is a canadian 3D artist from Ottawa, Canada. He studied 3D animation/modelling in Collège La Cité, Ottawa and began working in professional VFX and asset production in 2020. Timo Fahrbach joined Hybride VFX as a 3D modeler in early 2020 and later (in 2023) joined KitBash3D as a 3D modeler. At KitBash3D, he built high-end model kits alongside the in-house art team, and contributed to numerous film/TV projects. According to Hybride’s credit lists, Fahrbach left Hybride by early 2025, after which he has worked freelance and at KitBash3D.

Career

Timo Fahrbach primarily uses and is credited using Hybride VFX for most films. On The Mandalorian (Disney+, seasons 2–3), he is listed among Hybride’s modelers. He provided modeling assets for multiple episodes, such as Bo-katan's red speeder in Season 2, as well as storefronts and terrain elements. In season 3, he modelled city buildings, storefronts and rock faces.

He worked on Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett (Disney+, 2021) His ArtStation portfolio (Book of Boba Fett modeling) notes he modeled parts of the droid and speeder assets. He “had the chance to work on plenty of different assets,” specifically modeling the legs and neck of a patrol droid, and acting as “part of the speeders modeling team” and set-extension team.

On Andor (Disney+, 2022), he is also credited as a Hybride modeling artist. Hybride’s Montreal team (including Fahrbach) provided environment extensions and models for Andor. While no independent article names Fahrbach specifically, his IMDb/credit listings include Andor (2022) and The Book of Boba Fett.

Timo Farhbach also contributed to Ahsoka (Disney+, 2023). In Ahsoka, Timo Farbach worked in the layout, matchmoving and modeling. Fahrbach is credited on IMDb/Hybride as a modeling artist for Ahsoka

Notable non-star wars work

Outside Star Wars, Fahrbach has worked on other films and on 3D asset kits. He was a “modeling artist” at Hybride on Ari Aster’s film Beau Is Afraid (2023).

Timo Fahrbach has also extensively contributed in Kitbash 3D (As seen from citings). At KitBash3D, he helped create design kits like Wreckage, Lovecraft, and Ironforge. In his own ArtStation posts he describes building these kits: for Wreckage (a post-apocalyptic vehicle kit) he “did all the props…as well as a few buildings and all the destruction of the vehicles”. For the Lovecraft horror kit, he “was part of the modelling team, doing all the props as well as a few of the buildings”. And in Iron forge fantasy kit, he “got to do buildings on this one while colleague Lienny made props”.

Blogs and Statements

In KitBash3D’s “Behind the Kit” features, he discussed his work and artistic preferences. For the Iron Forge kit, Fahrbach said “My favorite part of working on the Kit was the interesting architecture. It was really fun to get to work on something... quite enjoyable to try something different out.”. He also noted that the Crypt model, was the favorite thing he built whilst he was working on the kit. These quotes give a sense of his interests and collaborative attitude.

On Timo's art station and social media, it is seen that he occasionally posts his W.I.P images and also short comments, but there's no widely published resources or magazine interviews found. The above KitBash blogs are the main sources of his own statements.
