Leadership

[edit]

The Chief Executive Officer of PeoplePlus is Kenny Boyle, who joined the organisation in 2018. Prior to this role, he served as Managing Director at Capita, where he oversaw the delivery of the UK Government's Automatic Enrolment pension policy in partnership with The Pensions Regulator and the Department for Work and Pensions.[2]

Earlier in his career, Boyle held senior roles in communications and service operations at organisations including British Airways, BT, Virgin Media, Avios, and VisitBritain.[3] He has also worked as a strategy consultant, advising companies such as Apple, Sainsbury's, BT, and Rolls-Royce.[4]

Boyle has been a trustee of the disability charity Tourism for All since 2013 and has served as its Chair since 2017.[5] He holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge and is a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Employability Professionals.[6]

History

[edit]

PeoplePlus was acquired by Swipejobs in 2025. Prior to that, it operated as part of the Staffline Group, which had formed PeoplePlus by merging three companies:[7] EOS (acquired in 2011),[8] Avanta (acquired in 2014),[9][10] and A4e (acquired in 2015).[11]

In 2018, PeoplePlus acquired the apprenticeship business of LearnDirect. It exited the English apprenticeship sector by divesting this operation in 2020.

The company currently provides educational services in 22 prisons across England. It is contracted to begin providing education in all 16 prisons in Scotland from August 2025.[12]
