CTAPS and shortcomings of ECWCS
[edit]Apparently there's a new system being tested, the Cold Temperature and Artic Protection System (CTAPS). Reportedly, soldiers stationed in Alaska complained that ECWCS does not meet the unique extreme cold weather experienced there. A CTAPS project officer mentioned "many capability gaps of the current ECWCS system".

I think this warrants a mention in the ECWCS article. Perhaps a "Criticism" or "Search for a successor" section? --Tengwar (talk) 22:14, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
