  • Comment: I think this could possibly make a nice article, thank you for the work on this! However it needs a bit more work at present. Can you please fix the capitalization? Anti-pattern should be capitalized like so, similarly "software and computer science" not capitalized. Article title should be "List of software anti-patterns". The section title "software engineering anti-patterns" repeats the main topic. I recommend taking a look at Software design pattern for an idea for the structure. I wonder if this would be a better fit to merge into anti-pattern or something like software anti-patterns. Caleb Stanford (talk) 20:46, 8 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: Capitalization has been fixed, and I've adjusted the section titles. I was looking to mimic a flow similar to List of software architecture styles and patterns. I specifically did not want to merge this into Anti-pattern because that page has a history of originally being for software and then became something more generic. In the process, most of the software items were removed, effectively reducing the knowledge on Wikipedia. This is my attempt to bring that knowledge back.
I also can't figure out how to edit the page's title to fix the capitalization. Can you please provide direction for that? StreamRune (talk) 21:32, 8 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

To elaborate on my acceptance, I think this article is good enough for mainspace. It's possible that "software anti-patterns" is a better title, but at the same time, the article is decently sourced and the topic is notable. Perfect is the enemy of good and I wouldn't !vote to draftify, merge, or delete this at AfD. Chess (talk) (please mention me on reply) 13:10, 26 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
