Usage

Use this template on mainspace redirects only.

• The |domain= and |1= parameters are no longer used to specify the top-level domain (such as .com or .org). The top-level domain and specific categorization are automatically sensed using {{#invoke:Domain handler|getTopLevelDomain}}.
• This redirect category (rcat) template populates Category:Redirects from domain names, or the appropriate subcategory as sensed by {{#invoke:Domain handler|getTopLevelDomain}}.
• It also populates Category:Unprintworthy redirects by default. In 2003, efforts were begun to support the Wikimedia Foundation's goal of increasing access and availability of Wikipedia articles in printed versions. Mainspace redirects from website domain names are not suitable for a printed version. In other words they are unprintworthy.

• Add this rcat to a redirect page (not a talk-page redirect) in the following manner:

Template {{Rcat shell}} is an alias for the Redirect category shell template, which may be used to add as many appropriate rcats as needed, usually from one to seven, along with their parameters, to a redirect. For more information, see the documentation on its template page. This rcat may also tag a redirect individually:

• Use this template for redirects that are domain names and that represent the article they target. An example of a domain name of a website that targets its article is www.nytimes.comThe New York Times.

If not specified (or set to anything else than "yes" or "no"), it uses {{#invoke:Domain handler|adjustTitleCapitalization}} to set the title automatically.
