Early life and education

[edit]

Michael J. Ditter was born and raised in Wisconsin, one of three sons in a family with deep regional roots. His father, Jim Ditter, led Norlight Telecommunications as president (1995–2001) and later served as CEO of PPC Partners, parent company of Pieper Electric (2010–2012).[4][5] His mother, Audrey Ditter, serves as Senior Vice President and Corporate Treasurer at S.C. Johnson & Sons.[6] Growing up in a Catholic household in Wisconsin's heartland, with German immigrant ancestry,[7] Ditter learned the values of hard work, respect, and perseverance. Family dinners often centered on servant leadership and sustainability—principles reflected in industry icons like Fisk Johnson of S.C. Johnson.[8]

Ditter earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder,[9] then pursued an MBA in Sustainable Global Enterprises at Cornell University's SC Johnson Graduate School of Management.[10]

Career

[edit]

Michael J. Ditter began his career at McKesson Provider Technologies as a Digital, Data and Technology Healthcare Consultant (2007–2010) and as Project Manager (2010–2012).[9]. While completing his MBA, he consulted with Novo Nordisk through Cornell's Sustainable Global Enterprise immersion (2013)[9]

From 2013 to 2017, Ditter served as Commercial and Marketing Strategy Manager at Accenture Strategy.[9]. In 2017, he joined Diageo North America as Director of Corporate & Commercial Strategy, a role he held until 2021[9]

In 2021, he founded Azure Bev Co (d.b.a. Partáy), scaling the Partáy Margarita brand to over 750 distribution points and earning coverage in The Beverage Journal[11] and BevNET[12]—before licensing operations in 2023.

From 2023 to 2024, he served as Senior Consultant, Sales and Marketing Strategy at PEBI.AI[13].[9]

In 2024, Ditter returned to Diageo as Director of Artificial Intelligence Strategy and Emerging Technology[9]. In 2025, he launched The Upload Wars, an AI-powered narrative platform.[14]
