Hello. I joined Wikipedia in 2009. The first article I ever edited was Arthur Cravan (poet, boxer, troublemaker), after I wrote a paper about him in college. I typically contribute to articles related to history, cultural heritage, social movements, and the arts. I enjoy reading Wikipedia, and I often edit articles I happen to be reading.
Contributions
[edit]I started the following articles:
List of killings by law enforcement officers in the United States, June 2014
List of killings by law enforcement officers in the United States, December 2016
Bruce Johnson (minister)
Kimberly J. Lau
Anthony Cains
I created the following categories:
- Category:Self-taught artists
- Category:Book conservators
- Category:Academics of the Plymouth College of Art
- Category:Preservation librarians
I participated in the following Wikipedia Edit-a-thons:
- Historic LA Buildings, 11 June 2020, hosted by the UCLA Library and the Los Angeles Public Library
- Black Artists Matter, 11 August 2020, hosted by the National Museum of Women in the Arts
From 2012 to 2014, I contributed regularly to the Lists of killings by law enforcement officers in the United States, and I still contribute intermittently.
Current activities
[edit]I'm working on expanding Wikipedia's content on book conservators, beginning by creating articles about Anthony Cains and Christopher Clarkson (in progress). I'm also working on improving the article for papermaker and researcher Timothy Barrett ().
I may also create articles about conservators Cathleen A. Baker, Mindell Dubansky, Mark Esser, Don Etherington, Gary Frost, Nicholas Pickwoad, Abigail Quandt, and Peter Verheyen, as well as Ellen McCrady, publisher of the Abbey Newsletter.
I may improve the existing articles about conservators William Anthony (), Paul N. Banks (
), Hedi Kyle (
), Bernard Middleton (
), Roger Powell (
), Pamela Spitzmueller (
), and Peter Waters (
) and preservation librarians Paul Conway (
), Carolyn Harris (
), and Janice Merrill-Oldham (
).
Future plans
[edit]I'd like to start an article for Nexus Press, publisher of artists' books, which operated from 1976 to 2003 in Atlanta, Georgia.

[edit]I contribute images relating to printmaking, book arts, and other topics to the Wikimedia Commons. Here are some of my contributions:
