The Frontier Sentinel and Down, Armagh and Louth Advertiser was a weekly newspaper published in Newry, Northern Ireland between 1904 and 1972.[1] Explicitly nationalist in its outlook, the paper supported republican and nationalist candidates as well as offering extensive reporting on Gaelic games both locally and nationally.
History
[edit]Issued weekly on Saturday, the first edition of the Frontier Sentinel was published on 15 October 1904.
Amongst its editors were Joe Connellan and Michael Keogh
