April 2023

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 07:46, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Christian Brothers Purple Wave, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you had bothered to look you would have seen my reply on my talk page. It's difficult to WP:AGF when you blank all of the discussion about this on your talk page, ignore the response to the thread you opened on my talkpage, and then restore the material with a seemingly bogus edit summary. And blanking your reply to my last warning before I could reply to your questions does not help.
I've remove the claim from the article too, now that you have pointed it out to me. Meters (talk) 23:56, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
yea, good point. I wasn't trying to make Wikipedia worse I just wanted to help but I'm just making it harder on myself and everyone else and I apologize for that. Dizzlessportsmatrix (talk) 00:05, 4 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for resolving the confusion Dizzlessportsmatrix (talk) 00:06, 4 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
would this be a good source for Baylor and McCallie? https://www.local3news.com/local-news/a-stroll-down-memory-lane-as-baylor-and-mccallie-prepare-for-historic-game/article_78f7d186-8f12-11ee-bd91-b30e4b40d46c.html Dizzlessportsmatrix (talk) 23:11, 5 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Acceptable. Meters (talk) 01:50, 6 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Is it okay if I just ask u if a source is acceptable or not or do I need to figure things like that out myself? Dizzlessportsmatrix (talk) 01:57, 6 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, you ask me until you get a better feel for things. Meters (talk) 21:33, 6 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited St. George's Independent School, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Episcopal Church. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:56, 1 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I appreciate the many edits you have made improving articles like Christian Brothers High School (Memphis, Tennessee). However, several issues need addressing. In general, please don't put external links anywhere but the external links section, or the spots intended to show the subject's website. Also, please review the Manual of Style (I'll attach an automated message below with some links) - there are many errors here, mostly capital letters and punctuation.

Also, in general, the infobox is supposed to give a brief overview of the school. You're adding quite a lot of valid content, such as the lists of feeder schools, which would be more appropriately included in the article's text. In this school's article, the infobox was far longer than the article itself. I've made some changes there, to bring it into a more Wiki-standard format. Alright, thanks for letting me know and fixing my mistakes. Dizzlessportsmatrix (talk) 14:49, 2 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
