Hello, and thanks for reviewing this. I'm new to Wikipedia, and this was my first attempt at creating a page. I now realize that using the username “AIFF - Awal Film” made it look like I was representing a business or organization, which goes against the username policy — I’m really sorry about that.

The page I created was about AIFF (Awal International Film Festival), a cultural event that we organize every year. It brings together participants from different countries, and I felt it was notable enough to be listed on Wikipedia. That said, I completely understand now that Wikipedia isn’t the place for promotion, and I genuinely want to contribute in a way that fits the platform’s guidelines.

To clarify:

- I’m personally involved with AIFF, so I will make sure to follow the paid-contribution disclosure(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Paid-contribution_disclosure) rules moving forward.

- I understand why I was blocked and I’ll be extra careful not to make edits that seem promotional again.

- I’m hoping to contribute in a more neutral, helpful way — especially around cultural and regional topics with reliable sources.

To be honest don't know how to in specific, as I'm an employee at the company who owns the festival it's aiff.jo . My point on above request cause found it on the list of reasons why I got blocked, so actually I'm an employee not getting direct payment for this job in specific AIFF - Awal Film (talk) 10:04, 14 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
