[edit]Mystery newspaper clipping
[edit]What newspaper is this clipping from? I am doing research for a DYK for Tom Richards (athlete). I found this website that contains a clipping of a newspaper during his death, but I am not able to find where this mystery clipping comes from British newspaper archive, newspaperarchive, and newspapers.com yield empty results for the title. -1ctinusđđ¨ 22:33, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
- I suspect either the South Wales Argus or the Western Mail, but I don't know where else digital archives of either paper might be kept. Since an exact date 25 Jan, 1985 is noted maybe you could check physical or digitized media at a local library, if you are in the region. Eluchil404 (talk) 23:47, 5 April 2025 (UTC)

- Both the newspapers Eluchil404 has suggested are still currently active. You could try contacting each via their websites, as listed in their articles' infoboxes, and ask them if the clipping is from them. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 94.194.109.80 (talk) 11:32, 6 April 2025 (UTC)

- @1ctinus:NewsBank has it in their Access World News database and says it is from the Western Mail. John M Baker (talk) 00:59, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
